The Sonatest range of handheld
Thickness and Coating Gauges range from the low-cost
easy to use units through to high performance models,
including A and B-scan units. The core range embodied
in the T-Gage IV series demonstrate very well the
ease of use of the Sonatest range and show the rugged
extruded aluminium casing ensuring performance in
the toughest of industrial environments. We also
offer various application specific options, via
specific software and transducers, such as plastic
measurement, automotive applications and bolt testing
meters.

CT-Gage
The CT Gage has been designed as a multi-
purpose ultrasonic material and coating
thickness instrument with a wide range of
features. The CT-Gage is able to simultaneously
and independently measure the material and
the coating thickness, or switch to the
time based B-Scan view to see a cross section
view of the material you are inspecting. |

Alphagage
The Alphagage is an A-Scan verification
corrosion gauge for use on difficult to
measure corroded materials, which often
give rise to spurious or erroneous readings
when using conventional digital read out
thickness meters. Typical applications are
offshore platforms, petro-chemical pipes
and vessels, ship surveys and thick attenuative
materials such as plastics, GRP and cast
iron etc. Designed with harsh environments
in mind, the rugged case is sealed to IP
67 inhibiting moisture ingress from wet
weather and high humidity conditions. |

Aladdin Software
Aladdin is the latest software package for
interfacing the Sonatest Alphagage with
the operator’s PC. This unique piece of
software enables a more sophisticated and
flexible analysis of the data read by the
Alphagage. Aladdin has been designed in
the form of a Microsoft® Excel
Add-in. This is integrated into Excel (v97
or later). |
